Harry Akio Umemoto (80) passed away on Dec. 14, 2014. He was a Nisei resident of Cerritos who was born in Wapato, Washington and interned with his family at Heart Mountain Relocation Camp during WWII.
Beloved husband of Kiyoko Umemoto; devoted father of Kris (Kraig) Aiken and Glenn (Suzi) Umemoto; loving grandfather of Michelle, Alyssa, Garrett, and Marissa. Also survived by many other family members.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim, Calif. Casual attire please.
