The nominees for the annual Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards were announced Thursday, with “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Into the Woods’ receiving three nominations each.

The awards will be presented on Feb. 14 at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. Oscar-winning makeup artist Rick Baker and Emmy-nominated hair stylist Kathryn Blondell will receive lifetime achievement awards during the ceremony.

Among the nominees are:

Best Contemporary Makeup, Television and New Media Series — Mayumi Murakami, Chauntelle Langston and Essie Cha for AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” the hit series about a zombie apocalypse. Also nominated: “Dancing with the Stars,” “House of Cards,” “Orange Is the New Black,” “Sons of Anarchy,” “True Detective.”

Best Special Makeup Effects, Television Mini-series or Motion Picture Made for Television —  Hiroshi Yada, Christien Tinsley and Gerald Quist for HBO’s “Olive Kitteridge,” which follows the relationship between a stern schoolteacher (Frances McDormand) and her husband and son over a span of 25 years. Also nominated: “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” “Fargo,” “Houdini,” “The Knick.”
