A memorial service for the late Mrs. Sumi Matsui Masuda, 86-year-old, Redondo Beach-born, resident of Culver City, who passed away on Jan. 6, 2015, will be held on Friday, Jan. 16, at 10 a.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Avenue, Los Angeles.
Predeceased by brother, Victor.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Gen Masuda; children, Kelly (Mark) Wyant, Gary and Kevin (Helen); grandchildren, Allison and Sabrina; also survived by two brothers (Walt and Ed) and two sisters (Mitty and Nak), many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Sumi enjoyed bowling, ballroom dancing, golfing (even making a hole-in-one!), and loved her Friday lunch bunch gatherings. Her easygoing nature and quick smile will be missed by her family, many friends and relatives.
