A funeral service under the auspices of the Senshin Buddhist Temple for Isamu Sam Matsumura, 95-year-old, Redondo Beach, Calif.-born Kibei Nisei, who passed away on Feb. 11, 2015 in Los Angeles, will be held on Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Senshin Buddhist Temple, 1311 W. 37th St., L.A.

He is survived by his children, Henry Matsumura and Joyce (Bill) Brewer; brother, Kazuharu (Takeno) Tsubaki of Japan; sisters-in-law, Toshiko Matsumura of Japan, and Dorothy Yoshihata; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in the U.S. and Japan.
