TORRANCE — Faith United Methodist Church, located at 2115 W. 182nd St. in Torrance, is holding its annual spring festival, Matsuri of Faith, on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This all-church event is open to the public and highlighted as a day of fellowship, food and entertainment.
Signature hand-crafted ethnic foods will include chicken teriyaki, hayashi rice, udon noodles, ramen salad, curry, yakisoba, malasada, lumpia, lau-lau, tamales, chili rice, Hawaiian shave ice, home-made baked goods and more. There will also be fresh produce, plants and handicrafts available for purchase, plus a silent auction.
Enjoy children’s games, door prizes, and great entertainment throughout the day, including hula and taiko drum performances, the International Children’s Choir of Long Beach, and much more.
The off-site parking location is at Hamilton Adult School, 2606 W. 182nd St., Torrance. Free shuttle service will be provided; look for the signs.
