Memorial service for Tomiye Mori, 91, a West Los Angeles-born Nisei and resident of Downey, who passed away on April 27 at the Keiro Nursing Home, will be held on Saturday, May 9, 11 a.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First Street, L.A.
She is survived by her son, Daniel (Mary) Mori; daughters, Kathryn (Philip) Costello of Chula Vista, Janice (Ronald) Dirksen and Karen Mori; grandchildren, Andrew, Samuel and William Mori, Christopher (Sharon) Costello, Joni (Scott) Loughney, Elizabeth (Evan) Roach and James Dirksen; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
