Jim Hajime Yamaguchi, Florin-born Nisei and resident of Gardena, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on March 28, 2015. The long-time educator was predeceased by his beloved wife, Taye, and is survived by sons, Danny, David (Agnes) of San Diego, and Doug; daughters, Patricia (Ian) Dale of Hayward, and Catherine (Mike) Figuracion; and grandchildren, Brandon, Robby, and Ryan Yamaguchi, and Elizabeth and Christopher Figuracion. Private burial services were held at Green Hills Memorial Park on April 11, 2015
