OAKLAND — The sixth annual Nichi Bei Day with the Oakland Athletics will take place on Sunday, July 5, at O.co Coliseum, 7000 Coliseum Way, Oakland.
Come see the Seattle Mariners, with All-Star pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma, take on their arch-rivals, the Oakland A’s, in this fundraiser for the Nichi Bei Foundation, publishers of the nonprofit community newspaper Nichi Bei Weekly. Those who purchase tickets through the Nichi Bei Foundation receive a tailgate lunch, and the first 20,000 in the stadium will receive a free tote bag.
Pre-game tailgate barbecue with food and drinks plus a raffle starts at 10:30 a.m. in Lot B. Game time: 1:05 p.m. Raffle will include a rare autographed photo of Japanese baseball legend Hideki Matsui in an A’s uniform.
Tickets are $40 (includes Field Level ticket, tailgate barbecue and processing fee).
