The Long Beach Japanese Cultural Center held its annual Summer Festival on June 27 and 28. The event featured ondo dancing both nights, Hawaiian entertainment by Leiali’inani Polynesian Dance Academy, martial arts demonstrations (kendo, judo and karate), ikebana, calligraphy, games for kids, and a variety of food.
