Private funeral services for the late George Yoshinaga, 90-year-old, Redwood City, California-born Nisei and a U.S. Army veteran who was a resident of Gardena, passed away peacefully on August 17, were held on August 27 at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden” with Rev. James Chang of Gardena Valley Baptist Church officiating.
George, who is predeceased by his son, Robin, is survived by wife, Yoshiko Susie; sons, Paul (Carey), Mark (Shuxia), and Tim (Mifumi); granddaughters, Juli and Erika Yoshinaga; grandson, Vincent Zhao; sister, Mary Mollie Hamasaki; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives here and in Hawaii and Japan.
