Student participants in the Torrance-Kashiwa Sister City exchange program stopped by the Rafu Shimpo offices for a brief tour on Aug. 7, part of a day trip to Little Tokyo and Downtown. The eight visiting students from Kashiwa, Chiba Prefecture – Yukiko Kanno, Hiroki Matsushima, Mizuki Niwa, Shoko Onuma, Hanako Senda, Natsuki Sugiura, Rieko Takatsuka and Hiroki Tanimoto – were joined by several American students who have made the reciprocal journey from Torrance to Japan.
