Private funeral services for the late Masako Watanabe, 102-year-old, Hawaii-born resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on Aug. 20, 2015, were held on Saturday, Aug. 29, at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple in Los Angeles.
She is survived by her children, Henry I. (Carolyn) Watanabe, Jane S. Watanabe, Lillian T. (Minoru) Nakatani, and Helen (Richard) Okawa; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
