The Rising Stars Youth Leadership Program Alumni held their eighth annual Christmas shopping event on Dec. 20 at the Montebello Shopping Center. Seven children from JSPACC (Japanese Speaking Parents Association of Children with Challenges) enjoyed shopping for gifts for their parents and siblings with the RS alumni, who also helped wrap the gifts. The children and the alumni had lunch together and exchanged Christmas cards.
