Friends of BoLA and Little Tokyo Service Center present Big Budokan Bash, a special evening of entertainment, dancing and community giving to benefit Budokan of Los Angeles, on Saturday, April 30, from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. at Nishi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St. in Little Tokyo.
Band and dance at 8 p.m. with music by Kokoro and special guest performers Rob Fukuzaki, Helen Ota, Jeff Carter, Miko Shudo, Gary Moriguchi, Aileen Quinn and surprise guest artists.

Budokan of Los Angeles is a multipurpose sports and recreation center in Little Tokyo that will include a gymnasium, community space, and a rooftop garden with a jogging track. To be located at 237-249 S. Los Angeles St. (between Second and Third streets), it will host an array of sports (basketball, volleyball and martial arts), special events, cultural performances, major tournaments and programming for all ages.
