Mrs. Kyoko Kimura, 87, naturalized U.S. citizen, resident of Los Angeles and born in Hamamatsu, Japan passed away peacefully on March 1, at Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband, Tadao Kimura and her son, William “Bill” Katsumi Kimura; She is survived by her daughters, Mari Lorraine Kimura, Yumi Violet Kimura, and Ruri Margaret (Michael) Heymann; daughter-in-law, Wendy; sisters, Fumi Kawai and Toshiko (Kazuo) Eto; brother, Nobuo (Masako) Kimura; nephews and nieces, Takeshi Kurt (Emilyn) Eto, Atsushi Eric (Kiyoka) Eto, Yuki Michelle Eto, Michiko Laura (Michael Bishop) Kimura; grandnephews and grandnieces, Phoebe Kaori Eto, Satoru Kai Eto, and Morgan Matsunobu Kimura-Bishop; she is also survived by other family members in Japan.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12 from 10 a.m. at L.A. Holiness Church, 3660 S. Gramercy Place, Los Angeles, CA 90018 with Pastor Shuji Mizoguchi presiding.
