MONTEBELLO — The Montebello Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding a missing 73-year-old man.
Jiro Kamai, who suffers from dementia, stands 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighs 145 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen on May 5 in the 100 Block of Sycamore Street in Montebello, and doesn’t have any friends or family in the area.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Montebello Police Department at (323) 887-1313.

UPDATE: On the morning of May 14, the Montebello Police Department made the following announcement: “We are pleased to report that Mr. Kamai has been located safe and in good health. We appreciate the community’s concern and assistance.”
