By GENIE NAKANO
looking at my hand
the lines and crevices
look foreign to me
yet, they tell a story
from long ago
I immerse my hand
in a bowl of rose water
flying past the past
instantly it blooms
memories of sweet youth
hide and seek
everyone come out and play
spin the statue
watch the world go round
the grass is green and soft
