This year’s Little Tokyo Community Health Fair will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Union Church of Los Angeles in Little Tokyo, located at 401 E. Third St. at San Pedro Street. It will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 12 noon.
Free flu shots will be provided. Various free medical screening services, such as dental/oral cancer, blood pressure, podiatry, and glucose checks will also be provided.
On the morning of the Health Fair, it is recommended that participants eat a light breakfast and take all usual medications.
The Health Fair is a well-attended event. Last year several hundred participants received free bilingual health screening services. For further information, call Little Tokyo Service Center at (213) 473-3035.
