Yoshiye Tsuyuki, born in Alameda, Calif., and a long time resident of Los Angeles, passed away peacefully at the age of 100 on Sept. 27 with her family by her side.
Mrs. Tsuyuki is survived by her loving family; children, Rev. Dr. Alfred Yoshihisa (Michiye) Tsuyuki, Theodore Ted (Keiko) Tsuyuki, Makoto Tsuyuki, Christine Megumi Nagashima, Hitomi Tsuyuki, Ricky Mutsumi Tsuyuki; grandchildren, Alyne, Cheryl (Sovatha Ann) Tsuyuki; Vicky (Mike) Boyd, Charlene (Scott) Pestotnik; Chad, Garrett (Lena), Dean Tsuyuki; Erik, Kelly Nagashima; Dawn (Brett) Wakasa, Jodi (Dave) Tamashiro, Braydon Tsuyuki, Brianna (David) Chang and Brooke (Jake) Caouette; great-grandchildren, Jubilee Tsuyuki; Nadan, Connor Boyd; Kevin, Jenna, Logan Pestotnik; Adaline Tsuyuki; Rylan, Kate Wakasa; Cadence Caouette; sister, Sakae (Asao) Sakaki; sister-in-law, Tomiko Fujimoto. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Oct. 23, from 11:00 a.m. at Konko Church of Los Angeles, 2924 E. First St., Los Angeles 90033.
