Private family memorial service for Shigeru Osa, 91-year-old, El Monte-born resident of Torrance who passed away on Dec. 24, 2016 at Little Company of Mary Medical Center, was held on Monday, Jan. 9, at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden.”
He is survived by his daughters, Gloria Megumi (Matt Joel Allen) Osa and Sonya Naomi (Wesley Yukio) Sakaguchi; sister, Chiyoko Yamaguchi; grandchildren, Tyler Shigeru Allen, Kelli Miho Sakaguchi and Nicholas Naoki Sakaguchi; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
