Funeral services for the late Mr. Masayuki Okumura, 103-year-old Colorado-born, Kibei Nisei and long-time resident of Monterey Park who passed away peacefully on Feb. 28, 2017, will be held on Saturday, March 18, 10:00 a.m. at Sozenji Buddhist Temple, 3020 West Beverly Blvd., Montebello 90640.
He is predeceased by his wife, Shizuko Okumura; son-in-law, Steven Yamato; and is survived by his loving family: daughters, Kimiko Yamato and Masako (Paul) Linder; grandchildren, Stacy (Tom) Jasmin and Matthew (Jannet) Linder; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Thomas Linder; also survived by many beloved friends and relatives.
