Fusaye “Mary” Furumoto, a 97-year-old Selma, Calif.-born Nisei resident of Rancho Santa Margarita and former internee of Rohwer Relocation Camp during WWII passed away on Aug. 16, 2017. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Masaru Furumoto and her children, Masako and Ikuo (Regina) Furumoto, she is survived by her daughter, Ikuye (Akira) Tanimoto; granddaughters, Kristen Sakaye Kang, Lisa Masako and Dina Alyce Fusaye Furumoto; great-granddaughters, Katherine Michiko and Madeline Kimiko Kang. Also survived by many other family members.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 11:00 a.m. at Pasadena Buddhist Temple, 1993 Glen Ave., Pasadena, CA 91103.
