Memorial services for the late Mrs. Irene M. Sugiyama, 91-year-old Nisei who passed away peacefully on Sept. 11, 2017, will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 11:00 a.m. at South Bay Community Church, 2549 West 190th St., Torrance, CA 90504.
She is survived by her loving children, Sharon (Brian) ORourke, Kit Sugiyama of Colorado, Rod (Claire) Sugiyama; grandchildren, Dana ORourke, Lance Sugiyama of Colorado, Craig and Sara Sugiyama; sister, Elsie Higa; also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family is requesting casual attire and the omission of flowers.
