A funeral service for Mary Mariko Sato, 94-year-old, Los Angeles-born Nisei who passed away on Dec. 24, 2017 in Torrance, will be held on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Galleria Chapel of Inglewood Park Cemetery, 720 E. Florence Ave., Inglewood, with Canon Richard Van Horn of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church officiating. Family humbly requests that koden be omitted.
She is predeceased by her husband, George Sato, and survived by her children, Kenneth (Yasuko) Sato, Arlene Behr and Donna (Franklin) Reyes; grandchildren, Ken (Julie) Sato, Miki (Grant) Cotner, Kumi Sato, Scott (Anita) Behr, Bryan (Glen) and Sean (Naomi) Reyes; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Cueto-Behr, Edward and Ellie Sato, Kyler and Lainey Reyes; sister, Ruby Shimidzu; and also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
