Rose Uyeji, born in Sacramento, Calif. and a longtime Chula Vista resident, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Jan. 2 with her family by her side.
She is survived by Sharon (daughter) & Jaye Okamoto, Kevin (grandson), Stanley (son) & Jacquelyn Uyeji, Rio Marie (granddaughter), and also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Jan. 27, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. at the San Diego Japanese Christian Church, 1920 E Street, San Diego, CA 92102.
