Private funeral services for the late Mr. Katsutoshi Sugita, 86-year-old, Hiroshima Japan-born, resident of Torrance, who passed away on Feb. 15, were held on Feb. 24 at Fukui Mortuary, officiated by Rev. George Matsubayashi.
He is survived by his wife, Midori Sugita; daughter, Katsuyo (Bert) Roberts; grandchildren, Rika (Luke) Rossy, Madison (Stacey) Roberts and Jason Roberts; great-grandchild, Trent and Cole Rossy; brother, Kiyoharu (Yukie) Sugita of Japan; sister, Tomiko Shibasaki of Japan; survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
