Yoriko Janet Kuwabara

Yoriko Janet Kuwabara passed away peacefully in her home on Feb. 3, 2018, at age 84.

She is survived by her devoted sons Drs. Gregory and Kevin; loving daughter Lori; four sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother (George), parents (Kiso and Tsuyako Kubo) and husband of 44 years (Dr. Harry Kuwabara).

Born in Tacoma, Wash., Janet relocated to Los Angeles with family after being interned at Minidoka during WWII. She led a full, happy, active life in La Habra Heights, CA with a large circle of friends and family. We will greatly miss her unwavering patience, kindness, and sense of humor.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Crosson Cancer Institute.

Private services will take place on Friday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Gate 10, 3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, CA 90601.
