A memorial service for Sharon Naomi Aono Taggart, 77-year-old, Santa Monica, CA-born Sansei who passed away on April 7, 2018 in Santa Rosa, will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd., L.A., with Rev. Mark M. Nakagawa officiating.
Sharon grew up in the Los Angeles area and fell in love with the arts and music. She was also the director of the arts program at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, where she resided for many years before moving to Santa Rosa, CA to live with her daughter. She is survived by her daughter, Marisela (Kraig) Singleton; grandchildren, Julian Gonzalez, William, Kristina, Kamille, Katalina, and Karmynn Singleton; aunts and uncle, Mae Kakehashi, Mary Nomura, Bill (Yetsko) Fukawa; and other relatives.
