Nov. 26, 1950 – April 5, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Alan Eugene Miyagi announces his sudden passing at age 67 from complications following coronary angioplasty procedure. He leaves all those that loved him and those that he loved, with many happy, treasured and classic memories guaranteed to bring smiles to our faces. His big laugh made those that prompted it feel like the funniest people on earth, and his hugs could lift you off the ground.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mury; his brothers Mike (Susan) and Jim; sisters Patti and Karen (Walton Kaleiwahea), brother-in-law Miles Ueda (Jennifer); and sister-in-law Rikki Ueda. He was Uncle Al to Jill (Michael Magdalena), Katie, Christine and Raelani, and the favorite great uncle of baby Emmie. But beyond his immediate relatives, his ‘ohana included many other uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends that will greatly miss his presence.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92054 (www.eternalhillsmortuary.com). Aloha attire.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to: Susan G. Komen, Dept. 41831, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265 (www.komen.org).
