Mark Edward Nakazawa - Rafu Shimpo

Mark (Ed) Nakazawa, 93, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife Amy. Ed is survived by his children Martin (Patty) Nakazawa, Laurie (Andy) Tallman; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Ed was a proud member of the 100th Battalion and 442nd Infantry Regiment, earning a Congressional Medal of Honor for his service during World War II. He enjoyed oil painting, golf, a good meal, and spending time with family and friends. Ed was a person that brought joy and happiness to all those that he spent time with and will not be forgotten.
