A funeral service for Arata Art Furuno, 98-year-old, Alameda, Calif.- born Nisei who passed away on July 4, 2018 in Torrance, will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Chapel of Kubota Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, with Rev. Mark Nakagawa officiating.
He is survived by his sons, Roger (Wendy) and Gary (Wendy) Furuno; grandchildren, Christopher, Stephanie and Neil (Sarah) Furuno, Carly (Andrew) Wooster; great-grandchildren, Luca Dehmar, Kenji and Graham Wooster; step-great-grandson, Rajata Hakim; siblings, Kiko Naruo and Jun Furuno; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
