Gregory Masaichi Yamaguchi
November 17, 1945 – July 9, 2018
Gregory Masaichi Yamaguchi, 72, passed away unexpectedly July 9, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada surrounded by loved ones. He was born November 17, 1945, in Denver, Colorado, to Mack and Alice Yamaguchi.
He grew up in Pasadena, California, before attending college at UC Berkeley. He went on to obtain his Pharm.D. from UC San Francisco. He worked for many years as a pharmacist for Fedco and then K-mart. He and his wife, Susan, moved to Las Vegas in July 2013 to enjoy their retirement. They spent their time doing yoga, Bingo, hiking and going to the local casinos.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Yamaguchi; his son, Cameron Yamaguchi, his wife, Sarah Soifer, and their three children, Thomas, David and Snowden; his daughter, Sarah Yamaguchi, her husband, Joseph Cavanaugh, and their son, James; and his stepson, Rowan McGlynn, his wife, Sharrisa McGlynn, and their daughter, Olivia. He is also survived by his mother, Alice Yamaguchi; and sisters, Donna Inouye, Denise Kimura, and Rachel Yamaguchi.
