Private services were held for the late Koichi “Ken” Miura, 89-year-old, San Diego-born resident of Torrance, who passed away peacefully in his home on June 4, 2018.
Born Oct. 29, 1928 in San Diego, Ken lived in Los Angeles and Torrance. He worked at the University of Southern California for 49 years.
He is survived by his loving family: daughters, Lisa (Tom) Thompson and Karen Miura-Conklin; grandchildren, Tyler and Dylan Thompson, Malia and Alana Conklin; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
