Kazuye Kato - Rafu Shimpo

Kazuye Kato (nee Ichimachi) passed away on Aug. 27, 2018 in Mission Viejo, Calif. Born in San Pedro, she was 96 years old. She is survived by her beloved family: son, Calvin (Gail) Kato; daughters, Becky Kato (Robert) Applegate and Mary Kato; son-in-law, Loren Porretto; she is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, and other relatives.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, Sept. 10, 2 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275, with Rev. Join Inoue of Nichiren Shu Beikoku Betsuin.
