Nariko Fujisaki
January 16, 1933 – September 5, 2018

Nariko Fujisaki, who grew up in Hashima near Kushikino City in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in San Diego, California. Her husband, children and grandchildren were at her bedside.

Nariko immigrated to the United States in 1960. Her many accomplishments include owning and operating Fuji-San Restaurant, Fuji-San Nursery, being a talented seamstress and homemaker. She was an active member of Seicho-No-Ie. She was kind to all. Her selfless nature, positive spirit, unwavering generosity and thoughtfulness will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband Tetsuo, their children, Hiromi (wife, Takako), Atsuko (husband, Craig Wilson) and Jean (husband, Robert Nelson) and grandchildren, Amy, Michelle, Arthur, Candie and Ryden. She was predeceased by her daughter, Judy, and infant baby, John.

A memorial service to celebrate Nariko Fujisaki’s life will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Greenwood Memorial Park, 4300 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113, with inurnment to follow.
