Cherry Yoshiko Kato - Rafu Shimpo

A private funeral service for Cherry Yoshiko Kato, 97-year-old, Los Angeles, Calif.-born Nisei, who passed away on Nov. 12, 2018 in San Gabriel, was held on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018 at the Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.

She is survived by her children, Janet Kato (Richard) White of California, Bruce (Patty) Kato of Alaska, and Akio (Sachiko) Suzuki of Japan; grandchildren, Shanna Kato (Ragan) Burns, Lindsey Kato, Kylie Kato, Hiroshi (Hiromi) Esumi, and Kae Esumi; great-grandsons, Asher Kato, and Takema Esumi; as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
