Haruko Yamashita - Rafu Shimpo

Mrs. Haruko Yamashita passed away peacefully at her residence on Oct. 6, 2018 at the age of 94.
She was born in Wakayama, Japan and was a long-time resident of Santa Monica, Calif.
She is survived by her siblings, who are all in Japan: brother, Toyohiko Tominaga; sisters, Tsuneyo Kato, Chiharu (Yuichi) Fujimoto, Yoko (Kinzo) Katsura; also survived by other relatives here and in Japan.
Private funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018 at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” with Rev. Ryuzen Hayashi of Koyasan Buddhist Temple officiating.
