Edward Tamotsu Matsumoto

Edward Tamotsu Matsumoto, 85-year-old, Honolulu, Hawaii-born resident of Gardena, passed away peacefully on Nov. 21, 2018 in Torrance.

He is survived by beloved wife Akemi; son Victor; daughters Charlene and Susan (Russell) Hirai; cherished grandchildren Justin and Kyle Takara, and Paige and Kelsie Hirai. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives here and in Hawaii and Japan.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Zenshuji Soto Mission, 123 S. Hewitt St., Los Angeles, CA 90012
