Funeral services for the late Mr. Masaru Matoi, 85-year-old, Long Beach-born, resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on Jan. 10, 2019, will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 11:00 a.m. at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Tsuru (Jose Luis) Arguello; grandchildren, Elias Akua and Isabella Taye Arguello; brother, Kaname Matoi; brothers-in-law, Tadao Matsuda, Tsunehiro Ray (Ethel) Matsuda of Nevada, Norio Iwata; sisters-in-law, Tsuru Nomiyama and Teru Terry Tabata; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family requests that flowers be omitted.
