A memorial service for Shinji Seki, 75 year-old, Poston, Ariz.-born Nisei who peacefully passed away on Dec. 31, 2018 in Los Angeles, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the South Bay Community Church, 2549 W. 190th Street, Torrance, with Pastor Seigo Takayoshi officiating. Family requests Aloha attire and for flowers to be omitted.
He is survived by his children, Kevin (Terri) and Stephanie Seki; grandchildren, Jaxon and Kyra Seki; sisters, Kim (Harry) Masatani of Guadalupe, Calif. and Mickey (Kiyo) Kumamoto of Granada Hills, Calif; his favorite cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
