Mr. Scott Yamada, 52, Long Beach, Calif.-born Nisei, resident of Torrance, passed away on Jan. 20, 2019.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Dena Tornez; sons, Brandon and Blake Yamada; daughter, Madison Yamada; and mother, Jean (Mas) Butsumyo.
Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, Feb. 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 W. 158th St., Gardena. The family requests casual Aloha attire.
