Alice Emiko (Kawamura) Linn
June 25th 1925 – July 7, 2019

Alice Emiko (Kawamura) Linn was born on June 25th 1925 to Issei immigrants Tazu Kawamura and Shika (Kametani) Kawamura.

Her family operated a farm in Sacramento until the outbreak of World War II, when she and her family were relocated to Poston AZ Internment Camp. During this time she received her high school diploma from the United States Department of the Interior, Office of Indian Affairs. She received her nursing license in Chicago, Illinois in 1946. Alice relocated to Los Angeles CA., where she continued her nursing career for 55 years.

She passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 94 with her faithful companion Moe by her side. Survived by son Steven Linn (Kathleen), daughter Naomi Linn, and grandchildren Brenda Poulsen, Brian Linn, Shawn Aguirre, Kenji Aguirre (Tania), and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by Roy, Walter, Ken, Jack, Mary, James, Joe, and Dave, her siblings, her parents Shika and Tazu, and her son Robert James Linn.

Private services will be held August 15th, 2019 at 3pm in the family home and her ashes will be scattered in the Pacific Ocean.
