Fumiko Okubo

Fumiko Okubo, born in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, passed away peacefully in Cypress, Calif. on October 1, 2019.

She is reunited with her husband, George, in the loving embrace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Predeceased by sons-in-law, Bill Leark and Max Cornell.

She is survived by her three children, Benjamin (Barbra), June Leark, and Annie Cornell; sister, Nobuko Nobe; cousins-in-law, Mariko Stricklin, and Hisako (Bill) Nelson; also survived by other relatives here and in Japan.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Orange County Christian Church, 4872 Bishop Street, Cypress, Calif.

Grave site burial will be the following Monday, October 21, 10:00 a.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 S. Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, Gate #10, Cherry Blossom Section.

Family is requesting casual attire.
