Umeko Horie, 87-year-old Washington-born, resident of Gardena, passed away on Feb. 3, 2020 at Sakura Gardens at Los Angeles.
She is survived by husband, Henry Horie; daughter, Karie (David Addison) Horie; granddaughter, Sarah Addison; sister-in-law, Sakiyo Horie; sisters in Japan, Emiko Komatsu and Masayo (Nobuyuki) Togashi; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 22 at Green Hills Memorial Park.
