A private funeral service for Junie Aiko Furuya, 93-year-old, Washington-born Nisei, who passed away on Feb. 15, 2020 in Los Angeles, was held on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Woodlawn Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (John) Nakamine and Nancee Furuya; son, Kenneth (Denyse) Furuya; and grandchildren, Shannon and Kylie Nakamine, and Kenden Furuya; also survived by other relatives.
