Mary Hayako Miya

Mary Hayako Miya, loving wife and mother of five children, passed away at her home in Venice CA at age 94 on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
Mary was born on May 7th, 1926 in Kemmerer, Wyoming. She married Shig Miya on May 12, 1956 and moved to Los Angeles where she started her family. Mary spent many years as a receptionist at a local doctor’s office where she developed many fond relationships and connected with the community.
She is survived by her husband Shig, her five children, Reiko Beach, Karen Miller, Tracy Niizawa, Jay Miya, and Dean Miya, eleven grandchildren and other nieces and nephews.
