Nobu “Ginger” Okamoto

Mrs. Nobu “Ginger” Okamoto, 101-year-old, California-born, resident of Los Angeles,
peacefully passed away on March 9, 2020. She is predeceased by beloved husband, Mitsuo Okamoto.

She is survived by her loving family: Beverly (Robert) Furukawa; grandson, Darin (Cindy) Furukawa;
great-grandson, Ender Furukawa; sister, Rose Uyeno; also survived by many nieces, nephews, many other
relatives and friends.

Nobu worked at Macy’s for many years. She was an avid ballroom dancer, loved traveling, and enjoyed
playing bridge with all her friends.
