Umeko “Chikako” Nozawa

Umeko “Chikako” Nozawa, 89-year-old, Tokyo, Japan-born Issei, passed away on April 23, 2020 in
Gardena. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Dick Nozawa, and is survived by her children,
Diane (Paul) Handley, Irene Freitas and Dennis (Emmy) Nozawa; grandsons, Brett, Cory (Wendy),
Kyle (Christine) Freitas, and Bailey Nozawa; great-grandson, Kenji Freitas; son-in-law, Keith Freitas;
sister, Miya (George) Tanaka; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
