Private family funeral services for the late Cindy Akiko Masai, 88-year-old, Los Angeles, Calif.-born resident of Long Beach, who passed away on June 1, will be held on Wednesday, June 17, at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, Calif. Please wear casual purple attire.

Public visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 5:00 to 7:45 p.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park “SkyRose Chapel”, 3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier. Please wear casual purple attire.

Public burial service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 12:00 p.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Gate #10 (Cherry Blossom) 3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier. Please wear casual purple attire while social distancing.

She is survived by her children, Daniel Tomie (Debi), Michael Tetsuzo (Arlene) Masai, Judy Lynn Masai (Marc) Butsumyo; grandchildren, Brandon Leigh, Victoria Lynn (Ricky) Meyers, Rachel Loriann, Sarah Joy, Steven Zachary Masai, and Russell Tadashi Butsumyo; great-grandson, Tyler Andrew Masai; siblings, Louise Yaeko Nagafuchi and Jan Shizue Ogata; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives here and in Japan.
