Mitsuyo Michi Kakiba - Rafu Shimpo

Mitsuyo Michi Kakiba, 93-year-old, California-born Nisei, passed away peacefully at Kei-Ai Nursing Home on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Isamu Sam Kakiba, she is survived by her daughters, Becky (Ron) Sato, JoAnn (Richard) Asao, Shirley (Harvey) Wong, and Bonnie (Byron) Watanabe; grandchildren, Shari (Mark) Iwasaki, Ryan, Kristy, Kelly, Asao, Lauren (Marc) Bevand, Camden (Greg) Ginn, Chase Wong, Brent (Stacey) Watanabe, Blair (Steve) Koloa, Brendan Watanabe; great-grandchildren, Brianne Sato, Seihera, Elijah and Avery Asao, Celeste and Celine Bevand, Karis, Aviella, and Micaiah Ginn, Toshio Watanabe, Kiko, Toni, and Aria Koloa; great-great-grandson, Kaliko Ballard; and many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, services will not be held.
